Robert crashed hard this past weekend at the WORCS' race. He was pinned in 5th when he lost it and rolled in a high speed whoops section. He walked away with only a few scratches and a bruised ego, but crashes like that definitely make you do some soul searching and ask questions about whether or not you want to continue with this sport. I am very thankful that his mother, who was at the track, did not see him tumble. If she had, I honestly don't believe she would be able to continue supporting him doing the racing thing.
Boy what a weekend for us both, lucky thank the Lord nothing serious...Yeah makes you wonder if it's worth it sometimes, then they get out of HS get serious girlfriends, college, start thinking about their future and where racing fits into the family and career life?…..Anyway, glad he’s ok and thanks.
