does this is require you take the stock airbox off?and run a striaght filter?

Do you sell just the ring, I have a velocity filter it did not include the velocity ring

You can run the complete air box and air box lid if you wanted to. The filter is not the same size as stock so it might be the wrong size.

We do sell just the ring, But your filter would have to have a 4 1/2" clamping area.

where was the 2 1/2hp gain rpm wise? would you be willing to share or show the dyno results? looks like i'll be picking up 2, just bought 2 new mx's....thanks

just recieved mine the other day, i first cut the air box and left the front 2 bolts holding it on....that made a good gain, then i bolted this kit on and wow!! i can tell a huge difference, from bottom to top! on my practice track i can stay a gear high in corners and it will pull it, before i hade to down shift then shift back to hit my jumps

this is a great product and should be a must for anyone looking for a good gain
