Bcs rotor guard and sprocket guard

A must have for all XC racers is the BCS sprocket and rotor guard combination. The Rotor guard bolts on in minutes and the sprocket guard is just as easy. The sprocket guard also incorperates a contoured outside edge to help get over rocks and logs.

BCS rolling sprocket guard $50.00

BCS Rear rotor guard "Sharkfin" $124.99

Does this curve out at the bottom to ride next to the rotor or is it straight down?

Does the sprocket guard look like the picture above? Or is it like the one shown on your website?

I wouldn't be so sure, the original thread was started in 2009.

We stopped making them the other way with the slots because the slots were making them to easy to bend.

Makes sense. I do like the idea of the "ribbed" outer diameter though instead of smooth.

The sprocket gaurd is easy to put on but the rotor guard is a little bit more of a pain. I'm sure I could do it faster now that I've done it once but you not only have to take the left axle nut off but you also have remove everything else on that side of the axle to put the sharkfin on.
, (watching this makes is easier if you don't have a service manual). Make sure you have a 41mm socket to get the axle nut off.
