Good way to protect side plastics?

I am not sure if I asked this before, but looking for a way to protect the side plastics due to pants and boots rubbing. I don't know how to post up pics (don't have account to host pics) but looked at other members pics and some have rub marks bad within a few hours of riding. Others show zero signs of wearing. Maybe it has to do with if you ride with boots or not, but looking for something to protect.

graphics. That's really the only thing i can see. Everything gets worn through, but graphics will keep the plastic from being scratched for at least a little while.

I will check it out. I ordered a couple X Team Can Am decals that I may use for the rear fenders and then will still need something for the sides.

Black firestone rubber roofing material works excellent. It has a self adhesive backing and it stretches and molds easily.I put some on my sons 300 ex fenders where his boot hit all the time, and it is still in tact. You can hit it with a wrench and it won`t tear through.
