Want seat advice, Quadtech hump/WORCS, etc.

If any of you ever rode that beast of a big brother DS650 you know it had one of the smoothest riding suspensions for its time and still to this day the best seat ever put on a stock machine because it was nice and foamy and wrapped down the sides to even accommodate the hugging knees.

Since I've had my 450 for going on two years now I hate the seat. After every ride my ass bone hurts and the insides of my knees are glowing red from hitting the plastic. I've been looking for a seat that wraps around by the knees and really didn't expect to find one, so that left me pretty much with quadtech and their Hump or WORCS seats.

--To me the WORCs sounds and looks extremely comfy for long rides and races but the fact that it sits 1" taller could be a good and bad thing. Good because maybe my knees will knock the seat and not the plastic but bad because that puts my very tall self up another peg on the height poll.

--That leaves me with the Hump which still looks comfier than stock and have heard nothing but stellar reviews but just doesn't seem to help my knee problems.

Sooooooooooooo, input anyone?

A local custom auto upholstery sho[p can do most anything you want. Also: check out Hi-Flite ATV seats. He is on the west coast and big with the duner crowd. Hi-Flite.com!* ATV & ATC replacement seats for Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, ATK, KTM, Mstar, seat kits, Cagiva, Husqvarna, Maico, Canam. I have had several. He takes a few weeks to get your order done, but its nice stuff when it arrives.

I have bad knees that can't take side hits very well. Since the late 80's I have been wearing the padded knee supports you buy at Walmart or the drug store any time I race. You know, the ones with velcro straps that wrap around your knee, and have the hole over your knee cap? You can clamp your knees on the side plastic and not even feel it.

The Hi-Flite Desert seat has about 2 inches more padding all the way around.

I like those seats fast507, will definitely be in contact with him about what I would like.

That's kinda why I'm leaning towards the WORCS style one, one more inch of padding can't make it feel any worse lol I'll just have even more body roll

The hump seat is more of a mx racing seat. Its nice if your draging all day, as you would grip the bike better.
So i would say no to the hump seat.
And if you get monkey butt it can grip just a bit to much
