Plasti-dip!!!

so, just plasti-dipped my rear rims like ive done before, came out bitchin as always, but got to thinking....my black plastics look worn and faded, and after a FAILED attempt at wetsanding them, they looked like complete garbage. so i plasti-dipped them! and it looks sweeeeeet! ill get pics up soon, but if you know the finish of plasti-dip then you know how itll look, almost matte black, nice thick coat, no scratches are visible, and best part is its actually tougher than the platics, so its harder to scratch, wont fade, and to touch it up, just spray a little more on!

Lot of people put it on there car rims for winter and then just peel it off in the spring. I thought about trying to do a arms with it.

yea i did the rims and was thinking of doing the arms and bumpers. but i just re-did my upper arms in bedliner and bumpers in crinkle coating, but might sand em all down after the trip and plasti-dip it all. it goes on super smooth, fills in voids so it looks smooth too, and protects against rust and corrosion.

Here's the pics! Looks stock! Just washed em and they stayed on no problem lol

first pic has a mad glare, but thats what matte/flat black does ...looks dull with a glare

ill try and get better pics up when im done packing for glamis

and if anyone else wants to try this, they have a ton of different colors and you can even make your own. its about $6-8 per can and i used one can on all 4 rims, the black plastics, and some other stuff and still have i think 1/2 can left. any place that sells spray paint has it.
