You can have a mount right up by the handlebars, I'll see if I can upload a picture so you get an idea of what I mean. Sits in front of handlebars.

thats your best setup if your going to get one , it gets cooled by the air rushing by it when you mount it behind the rad it soaks up some of the heat and causes fade mounting on top is the best

Thanks for your answers.
Harry, I would defiantly go with the Precision Stabilizer. It's the best stabilizer I've ever tested to date. I haven't rebuilt mine after 4 years of use. I'm really surprised how well its held up considering how much I abuse it.

alot of the ones that mount on the bottom are a universal stabilizer. they clamp down around the base of the steering stem and bolt to the frame. you not going to find too many ds450 specific stabilizers. scotts performance makes some of the best stabilizers i know of. they have their shop right here in my town. last time i talked to them they didnt have a ds450 specific one but ill ask if they have a universal one.

I got the new streamline and it is working good so far. The way I look at it anything is better then not running a stabilizer. Plus I don't have the money to get a precision so I'll stick with my cheap $150 stick stabilizer for now.
