big tires = higher top speed but slower acceleration

smaller tires = higher acceleration but not as much top speed

thats why people wit drags bikes for the dunes buy tires with a specific roll out like 72'' roll out

the only other kind i would like to try are the new maxxis razr blade fronts, but i really like the sand star fronts over the single rib design

those maxxis razr blade fronts look cool! Just wondering if it'll have enough steering response for me w/the straight blades in the rear. I don't want the sandstar dual ribs cause the dunes we ride at are often rutted and i REALLY don't want to get tossed!!!

Also, w/my weight I'm sure i can swing my 240lbs enough to coax the bike into a turn!

rockymountain******** has em for 49.99 a tire for the fronts! killer price for brand new tires, i love the aggressive look of them, either dirt wheels or atv action had a sand tire shootout a few months back and they finished second to the sand stars overall. and i like maxxis tires overall, good reputation...

k, so I'm a JACKASS! I actually have 21X12X8 rear extremes...lol... I ended up going w/the Dune Tracker fronts on 21X8X10..they were only $176 otd, $50ish cheaper than the others so I pulled the trigger!

Thanks!
