Front sand tire...what size w/22X12X8 extremes
Would a 21x7x10 look goofy w/my 22x12x8 rears? Should I go w/22x8x10 to even it out?
Thanks...wanting to get some before I head to glamis! Do the stock fronts drag in the sand out there?

The wider the front tire the more it floats. Wider is better. I also like to steer so I purchased the twin ribed front. The spiked and the single ribs dont turn as fast as these do from my experience. Overall I like the combo, but the large 22" I have been told, sap allot of power. I have a set of 20x10x8 extremes waiting for me to mount up to try out.

dang lifted...you're running 8 paddle extremes stock? I have the 22x11x8 6 paddles but also ride at 5000K above sea level!
They look good though..i think i'll go w/the 22x8x10s...now just to pick what type! budget around $200...

Ito sand stars. Check Craigslist for a pair. $150 seems to be the norm

Those 8 paddles almost grab to much. When my buddys are doing 3rd gear powerband assaults on hills and not making it, I am in second gear mid range barley spinning the tires. But the sand wetness make a HUGE difference. In the mid summer there totally different then after it rains obviously. I really wanted to try them out at Glamis this next week.
I have geared down 10% to compensate for the 10% larger tires. I just got my +6 swing-arm on the bike, and the little I have ridden it makes it feel like an entirely different machine.
I will try out the 20" extremes as soon as iI can get my truck out from my house. No vehicles in or out for 4 weeks. Ouch.

i run 20x11x10 itp sand stars on the rear with 21x7x10's on the front, i think for a stock machine 7 paddles is plenty, any more and you are seriously working your bike. i would rather run 22x8x10's on the front but i had the 21's so better than buying new ones i guess
