2012 little saraha Ok dune trip
Its a go.... got the wifes ok on a late summer dune trip and a side trip of going to loretta lynns national race!!
Leaving Dover pa aug 10th and will get back on the 15th
3 days of sand rippin fun in wanoka ok.Seeing the race on the way out to the dunes its a halfway point and a chance to see a really cool race
So whos going??? Lol i know badmoose is down right??

Just fyi im driving 1300 miles to ride sand dunes if thats any inkling of how f-ing cool riding sand is, you gotta try it !!

If u r in pa u should come race Sunday. Look up Broome tioga hare scrambles winter series. Me and my team are going. Shouldn't be too far. About 2.5 hours from me upstate ny. It's south of me so might be real close.

I might be there. My group goes every year around that time but we are considering going earlier in the summer because the last two times we have gone there during that time period, the lowest day temp we witnessed was 115. You better bring something with air conditioning and be ready to ride early in the morning and late in the afternoon because it is literally impossible to ride durring the day. The night ride are great though, about 80 degrees.

Thats fine most of the time we stop riding by 1pm or 2pm for lunch then go back out after 5pm. and there is allways a nice breeze out on the dunes.

What route are you taking or don't know yet? I am only three hours from the dunes.
Now we just need to get Hcomras to drive his happy arse out also.

You can pretty much count on me being there. Which camp site are you looking to stay at? South gate, North gate, or in the private campsites?
I LOVE the night rides! Those for me are the best! Usually we can run one gear faster in the trails, at night then in the day.
