No fuel filter?????? hmmmmm

My quad just started to act like it has a clogged fuel filter. It will run like hell for a couple seconds then start to sputter and then die. So i looked in the service manual and it didnt show a filter. Then i pulled the fuel pump and it looks like im going to have to replace the entire pump to take care of the problem. Just wondering if anyone had the same problem or had any idea of anything else it could be.

Did you get your ignition wires, one of mine got loose and it would run right.

Is your fuel pump coming on? If not try replacing your fuel pump relay before you replace your pump. What was the problem you found with the pump when you pulled it? Seem many bad relays not a bad pump yet.
