New to the can-am pink wire question

We have a 08 Ds 450 x; we have the can-am stage 1 kit with the new ecu, what will happen with the “pink wire” with the updated ecu, lid off, k&n with outer wear, and the new pipe. We are setting it up for the hair scrambles in Florida.

Thanks for any help glad to be away from the red bike…..

+2 A arms, adjustable rear hollow axel, replace the 2 bearing carrier, to a 4 bearing carrier, up graded front end let’s more are in, K&N filter with outer filter, new reprogrammed ECU, extended up graded tie rods with ends, stainless extended brake lines. I think that’s it, nope the moto work exhaust but if you get into the racer x program you also get one thousand bucks to pick out items from the online catalog.. It’s a sweet deal…
But what the information on the pink wire….

When you cut the pink wire, you get a race map preset in the ecu
you can use either one. if you got the ecu from Can AM race dept , I suggest using it ...
we use it on our practice bike. very dependable and quick if you add the bcs intake

i suggest you try it both ways and pick whichever you like.

U know u do have to pay for the +2 arms, shocks, and axle....and everything else with that kit. U don't get it in the stage one kit. And try the damn search button in the forum and you'd find 50+ threads about it......

Well either way those parts are not part of the stage 1 kit, no matter if you paid for them or not. and honestly what we paid for the "x-package" parts was penny's on the dollar for what they normally cost for them. So it really didnt "suck" for me atleast.
