You should be fine with just the pink wire cut. The can-am ecu is smart, it self adjusts with changes. I have a high compression piston, porting, a cam, motoworks slip on, and the bcs intake ring for a bigger filter, and it runs fine, then when i change the filter to stock, and put on the air box lid, it still runs fine. You just have to make sure you run it after the changes for a while, and then shut it off. It will self adjust then.

I dont think it self adjusts unless you have an oxygen sensor and other sensors in intake tract, Head pipe etc. If it does, your DS must have came out of a different factory than mine! I would think with all those modes and no FMI, that you are Runnin super Lean.

A slip-on w the lid removed should only need the pink wire cut, it is when you get into full systems the quad should run lean without a programmer.

Agreed with Blizzard. Slip on would be fine without a programmer. Although with a programmer and time on a dyno, you'd likely be able to get some more power out of it with a proper tune.

As far as I know....no. I don't know of anyone that has retuned their ecm to a custom setting...and if u could id imagine it'd only be through the dealership or brp themselves which would mean $$$$$. A pc3/5 would prob be cheaper

You will be fine with the pink wire cut, slip on, and lid off but after a while you will want to go faster.

I wanna clear sumthin up before blaster99 gets to it. U don't NEED a programmer for ur mods. But if u want to customize ur fuel map ull need a programmer. A custom dyno tune with ur programmer will do much more than a pink wire mod and cam work.
