I absolutely agree that the $ vs gains does not justify a $250 bill, and I am not trying to argue with you at all. Just trying to give the correct info to other DS owners, and if they feel the $250 is worth it, that is up to them. Again, straight from Johnny's mouth is his slip-on does not make the same power as the full system.

I wasn't saying you said anything about an HMF exhaust, I was merely stating when I asked Johnny how his slip-on was vs the full HMF system I already had on there, he said it wouldnt match the performance of the full system but his full system would out perform the HMF full system.

k cool well to majeddry then theres your answer. fmf isnt better than motoworks, and the motoworks full is better than the hmf.

ok i know im gonna get some heat for this cause people bash the fmf pipe all day .....but team epic can am was running that pipe for a reason.....i have had two pipes on my ds ...one was the FMF 4.1 with a mega bomb header ....the second pipe that i am currently using is a ron woods drag pipe......i can honestly say that i liked the fmf better ....the sound was nicer and it had the same exact seat of ur pants feeling as the ron woods.....i am switching back to the fmf as soon as i get a chance , i am actually confident in saying that fmf with mega bomb reved out better then the woods pipe in my opinion.

im wondering if the drag exhaust is not as good cuz its pretty much a straight pipe at that point...the fmf im sure has more backpressure which the engine needs...maybe?

dsfinetely could be .....i would like to maybe pair another slip on onto the mega bomb header and see what happens ....ive ran that header on all my quads and its always produced alot of mid range and revs out nice ....im wondering how the mega header would do with the motoworks slip on

Team Epic only ran it for one season, than they switched to Motoworks
so that's not saying much for FMF.

i would like to see that...because ive read and heard alot of things about the fmf slip on not being that great...maybe the header is good but like you said itll be interesting to see the mega bomb hooked up to a motoworks or hmf or something
