Clutch Spanner wrench
Guy's I am removing my clutch to get a new basket. I am at the part where you have to remove the clutch hub nut and spring washer. Do I have to order the spanner ( P/N 529 035 647 ) to get it off ? How did you get yours off if you removed it? any suggestions ? thanks in advance.

You're talking about the main big nut that holds the basket on right? On mine I just used a impact to spin it off. When I reinstalled it just torqued it down to the right amount and off I went. After I got mine back together I haven't done much riding, but after a short trip down the road it seems to shift fine.

Yeah, its a pain without the right tool. I used an impact too. Make sure you locktight the nut when it goes back on! They can come loose.

There is a way to get it off without using a impact or the special tool. You should be able to put it into gear and then put a screwdriver through the rear sprocket in order to stop it from turning. This is how I put the nut back on, should be able to do the same thing to take it off. Seemed to work for me.

It would with a socket, but not with an impact.... The impact provides enough torque fast enough that it losens the nut before the whole essembly has time to rotate...
