no locktite on oil pump bolts?

My dealers mechanic informed me that on my 08 ds450 there is one bolt in the engine that is not lock tite from the factory, and its the one holding the oil pump, he said they had one in and it came loose and the oil pump became dislodged and it seized the engine. When I asked him symptoms he said excessive rattling in the case. But we all know the rotax engine makes rattling sounds naturally. Anyone else nkow anything about this?

i think ive heard of the oil pumps coming apart before, but under race conditions (i think). if they can get the lock tite on then go for it. cant hurt.

well i mean i think that would be it. i beat on my bike but i know i ride nowhere near the level a pro racer does. id assume if your bouncing off your rev limiter for 30 min straight thatd qualify as race conditions
