How to adjust Valves ----Can't Find it---

I must be lossing it. I saw the article specific to the DS450 on the quick how to adjust the valves, but can't find it when I need it. Adjusting the valves isn't the problem. I just want to know what is the quickest way to get to them. I recall seeing posts right from the shop manual.

As a followup where is the best to get a manual? I know the dealer has them for $160.

Thanks..

you can order them from the CanAm catalog at your dealer for $101. $160 is outrageous...Hell, I'll give you the website to my dealer so you can order it from them and have it shipped to you!

Remove Valve Cover, engine in.

1. Disconnect the crankcase hose.

2. Remove retaining screws of head light power regulator.

3. Disconnect engine harness connectors and ECM connector.

4. Move crankcase vent hose away to free valve cover area.

5. Disconnect fuel rail quick connector.

6. Move headlight power regulator away, toward ECM.

7. Remove the LH frame member

8. Remove valve cover screws.

9. Remove valve cover be careful not to damage gasket.

10. Straight from manual, that'l be $101.

Oh, and when you remove that fuel line quick disconnect fitting to throttle body, don't stretch the clip. I think the plastic clip should be removed BEFORE removing the hose then put in AFTER you install the hose. My service guy apparently didn't seem it was necessary as he stretched the clip out, hose shot off first ride. Gas everywhere! Then it was a pain trying to get it to stay on. Zip ties saved me and are still saving me as I broke the clip when I tried to install the new one. Kinda hard to get to so kinda made something so simple turn into a huge pain in the ass.
