Aftermarket clutch kit?

Is anyone making an aftermarket clutch kit for the DS, such as Hinson or Barnett? I've not been able to find anything and just don't really want to pay $200 for the factory parts. Thanks.

hinson makes a basket so does BCS. both r about $250. So far the only complete clutch kit is from motoworks race dept. I have it and its awesome. but itll set u back about $800

I just bought the BCS basket and had the mod done. When I asked about the clutch, Jason at BCS, recommended the stock clutch over the new DP unit. I hope to try it all out this weekend(weather permitting). Anyone in AZ want to take a warm weather ride?

Are you sure your going to buy an aftermarket stuff?? Some cons for aftermarket stuff is some of the springs break, and aftermarket plates and fibers don't hold up as well. But if you're decided to buy one, try to look on ebay or even to you nearest dealers.

I know I am going to "ruffle some Feathers"
We replaced our 08 clutch with the 09 mx discs,
it now has over 30 moto's and 40 hours of practice on it. I pull it out every 4 races and mic it, it is still in "spec" and has not slipped yet.
I say OEM ! I have replaced a buddies hinson 3 times in the same time frame .
We do change our oil every week though. that may be the difference.

Wait your saying you have replaced the hinson basket three times or the fibers three times, because i was unaware hinson made fibers.

I am saying that our bike has over 30 motos on a stock cluch, basket and boss..
I also wrench for a few other racers, one of them has worn out 3 hinson baskets, and plates in the same timeframe.
Sorry , i guess i was unclear, sometimes my mind gets ahead of my typing.
