You may have a short somewhere. Check over the wires, and make sure they didn't rub on anything metal to cut them.

Clean the connector to that relay, ecm, and fuel pump, make sure all pins are making good contact. Check your main engine/chassis grounds (lower right by foot)....that chassis ground goes to the fuel pump connector grounds it to the ecm. Do a resistance test on the fuel pump(windings), check your ECM pin connectors lets hope a bad one is not the prob.

OK
Here we go ......
Can Am will admit that the 08 relays were inferior, and need to be replaced whenever there is an issue, The main relay on our new 08 has 22 amps going through it when the fuel pump is at 60 psi and the fan is on with the bike idling. The relays are rated for 15 amps only. When they are under warranty, BRP has us replace all three relays .
they claim that the new ones "handle the load better than the 08 ones did"
I removed all 3 relays and replaced them with bosch 30 amp relays like fog lamp relays
that you can buy at NAPA for @ $5.00 each --- my problem solved.
BRP says that if you replace the relays with new ones , the problem goes away
