o come on fuel cotrolers aint that bad..... now i feel like selling mine. so whats your secret to keep it from running lean or is it lean and mean. blaster what do you have for mods? is it better to get ecu reprogrammed?

I have the Motoworks FMI and I love it. It is night and day compaired to not using one. It is super easy to adjust and to figure out what works best for your style. I picked mine up off a racing team for cheap because most Can Am teams run them. I live in Iowa and ride all the time and when I went to St. Anthony in Idaho it ran just as well.

Yoshimura PIM 2 is the best !!!
But BRP will not sell them the plugs to make one for Can- AM .
The best for the Can AM is PC-5 w/ autotune (O2 sensor) I have been told that it works as good as the pim 2

Power curves on the dyno don't lie, it be initerersting to see Blaster's same mods/Pink ECM compared to a PC5 curve. My guess is the PC 5 gets much better smooth power or they be out of business.

Procomm makes an adjustable map/curve ECU for the KFX. I wish they'd put that tech to use on the DS. These have all but replaced the PC3 / PC5 for the KFX450 guys I run with. And for about $289 bucks. It offers several progressively richer 3D fuel curves and three spark curves and rev limits and is tuned with a screwdriver on the rotary switch. OR you can load/tune your own map. The guys at KFX450HQ are loving them. Maybe if enough of us hit procomm up for it they will work on developing one for the DS. See the link:Product Catalog
