Stock pipe baffle remove?
I am not quite there on the funds for a pipe right now and am going to a little or I should say huge quad gathering in Michigan and want some noise from my DS other than the wimpy stock pipe sound. So my question is if I take out the baffle/spark arrestor do I have to cut the pink wire? I am only going to be riding it like that one day but its going to be raced and dragged hard that day and don't want to damage the engine(I'm new to the whole EFI scene, just got it 3 months ago). Also I might remove the air box lid, so with that and no baffle would I have to pink wire it? Thanks in advance!

And this then activates the alternate fuel map, and that would be the right map for that setup from what your saying. And if I put the baffle back in just reconnect the pink wire until I get a pipe?

You can put your baffle back in without reconnecting the pink wire. It will be a little quieter, but you won't notice much difference in power. In wisconsin we are required to have a baffle when riding on any of the state trails, so we do it all the time.

Because I ride dunes and trails in MI and it has to be under 94DB or its a pretty big fine and you get kicked out. From what you said it shouldn't be that loud, and by that time I'll have my Rossier, so I'll just keep it out. Thanks for the info!
