quad wont start
well yesterday morning i changed the oil...she fired right up after..ran it for about 5 minutes... loaded it up got out to ride and she chugs twice then stops and repeats.... i was able to push start her and ride for a few hours and she was fine once she warmed up... now same thing this morning..so the battery is fully charged... i am thinking intake valves maybe...
so what shim and a bucket or what?
or anyone have any other ideas?

Sounds like you need your valves adjusted. I just went through what you are talking about.

I dunno if it were the valves I would think you would not run well at all RPM's and you'd feel a loss of power. From what you described sounds like your problem happens when it is cold, like fouled plugs robbing battery power and that work better when warm. I'll see if I can think of something else thats temp related. Do you have lights and are they working? You may try and jump your starter or solenoid, just curious.
You sure your battery doesn't have a bad cell and has full CCA's, is it draining everytime this happens? It's needed to supplement the ECM, when it drains the quad will die if the stator or a charging fuse is bad. Did the engine light come on?
So I'd check the plugs, fuses, load test the battery, and adjust the valves go from there.

Your battery sounds very weak. Try jumping it from a jumper box or car.
