cut the pink wire, take out the spark arrestor and take off the air box lid. it will not hurt your bike, it will run a little richer, and it will not void the warranty either. the pink wire is part of the fuel mapping. it goes into a different map. if you do this mod, make sure you tape them off correctly, and if splicing back together, sauter them, dont just wire nut them

Smoke it won't hurt anything cutting the pink wire. You will definately notice a lot more bottom end when you do. I wanted the option of being able to select race mapping or not so I soldered and shrink wrapped some wires to the pink ones and ran them to a toggle switch under my seat. Now when the kids are on it I can select the factory setting and when I ride I can go nuts.

I haven't noticed any issue so far. I've put about 30 hours on it in the last 5 weeks and maybe switched it twice in that time. Most of the time it's in the cut wire mode.
