No PC5 for 08 models?

The website for the power commander shows the PC3 for the 08 DS 450 and the PC5 for 09 DS 450. Why can't the PC5 be bought for the 08 models? I would like to have the newer features of the PC5 on my 08 model.

I heard something about this on atv riders. I'm not sure if it is true or not. Call the people who make power commanders, and ask why they wont work. They should be able to give you a straight answer, to if you can or can't use a PC5 on an 08.

you have to suater the pink wire back together if your using a programmer. the programmer runs through the pink wire and the ecu, so by leaving it cut, its sending the wrong fuel/air ratios to the comp

The PCV will work on the 08 model. I'm not sure why Dynojet advertising the PCV for only 09 models. They did the same thing with the KFX450 and the Raptor 700.
