Help

Please help. If anyone is on here that might know. I bought a brand new xmx. I got the racer program so I have the Motoworks pipe and the computer upgrade. I put on a tether switch and a start button and just cut the wires that went to the headlight and the old starter button. Now my check engine light is flashing everything is running great and good on oil. Heading to race and don't know if I should run it or if it's because the wires were cut. Thanks.

Before I had my harness cut I remember laughing to myself during races becasue the check engine light would start flashing. I wouldn't worry about it.

How did you wire up the button? I am wanting to do this but haven't really got enough info to do it yet.
