Relay failure or something else?

I am new to the DS 450 and i was riding the other day and it all of a sudden died out and then when i went to start it again no lights or fuel pump , nothing worked.

What could this be?

Could be a relay or fuse. Check the fuses first, they are easier.

This has happened multiple times on our kawi 450. It is usualy the fuse but all so make sure your battery cables are tight. Make sure all your plug ins are plugged in propperly.

Checked fuses and they are good, next is the relay tonight after work , is there any way to tell if they are wrecked?

Not with out alot of work. It is easier just to swap them out. On these quads, with their location, they seem to fail alot. Just swap them out and clean the connectors, hopefully that fixes it.

sounds like the main relay, the one in the middle, take out either of the outside ones and swap with the middle one, if the lights and stuff turn on, it was your main relay, if not then its something else

I disconnected the battery and hooked it up again and it worked fine after that .

Sometimes the ecu just gets combobulated and unhooking the battery helps uncombobulate the ecu.
