Broken Clutch Steel

Out at the dunes this weekend just ripping around and noticed my clutch felt like it went way out of adjustment. headed back to camp and re adjusted it. it would run in nuetral and i pulled in the clutch and shifted it into gear. It held then started to slip after about two seconds. I knew this wasnt right so i tipped the quad up on its side, and took the clutch cover off. and found pieces of the fibers all over. started taking the clutch apart and this is what i found.

Sorry about your luck.

Maybe start staying away from the dunes, they bring you very bad luck. j/k

haha well i've rode them since i was probably 3. luckily i had an extra clutch set in my camper just in case it went out at a race so i was back up an running for the rest of the dune trip. works good now thankfully this happened at the dunes rather than a race.

might only have my ds's for a few more month.
heading to college in august

Don't sell! Just store them, that way you can ride them on the breaks. The dunes are too much fun.
