Limp Mode
im prolly gonna get b****ed at for asking this but i couldnt findit on the search bar.
What is limp mode exactly bc i just got my ds and it gets super hot really quick so what happens in limp mode?

because im in a good mood... It is were the computer thinks the bike is getting too hot so it goes into limp mode were it only lets you rev it to like 2,000 rpms so you can limp the bike home. the 08 ds450s had a lot of issues with this because the limp mode temp was set too low. The newer bikes don't have these problems as far as I know. I have a 08 and race it and never limped it but I run engine ice and swiss chessed my plastic. I recently bought a race ecu so I wouldn't have to worry about the limp mode. You can send your stock ecu to brp in canada to have the limp mode removed for around 100 bucks. This is basically a summarry about limp mode. That really suprises me you couldn't find anything about limp mode by using the search button.

I typed "Limp" in google and lets just say what came up had nothing to do with the DS450 
Just sayin..

I never experienced limp mode yet but i was wondering how do you get out of it??
Does it go out by itself once the engine cools down??
Ive search but i did not find the info.....
