Get the power commander if you plan on doing engine mods. The fmi is ok but I rather spend my money once and get the power commander 5.

NO you need the power commander if you are going to do free air and a slip on. With a k&n and no sparkie mine is almost lean more than that and you need the pc.

I run a HMF slip-on, velocity filter and no lid with just the pink wire cut for almost 2 years now. When I get a full system, cam, porting and throttle bore then I'll get the PC5.

fmi is fine

i got the motoworks slip on and k&N and the motoworks fmi is perfect. it actually comes pre-programmed for that set up. if you do anything else, get the pc5.

i'm now more clear of what i'm getting, i'll order the k&n filter with outwears and a full motoworks exhaust system, but that's all that i can buy for now because i also have to pay for the international shipping( i'm from chile a litle country next to argentina) and thats a little expensive, so is really nesesary the fmi or should just cut the pink wire, and at some point in the future get the fmi and re-connect the wire???
i'll wait for your advise guys!!
sorry if my english is not correct...

if your running the full exhaust id just get the fmi to be safe, there are tons of package deals from motoworks that sell the filter, fmi and exhaust
