Well after removing air box. I didn't like how the wiring laid in there. I'm anal I can't help that. lol I ended up drill 6 holes on each side just below subframe and 4 triangulated holes in the rear of the airbox 3/4" in diameter. We'll see what happens in two weeks in Waynoka.
Mike450 how were the results this weekend in Glamis?

MX450R, you installed the sensor in the actual intake tube ( blue part on yours? ) ?

They were good. I made 3 1inch holes in the air box at the back. It had more torque than before and felt faster for some reason. If i floor it in 1st, 2nd, of 3rd the front wants to come up now. of the line i have to really have to sit on the front end now.

yeah I made a hole with a sharp, tapered reamer. little bit at a time until it "pops" in place. The shape makes it real easy to insert and keep put. Ive ridden her about five times with no problems, besides the first time out, with no mid-strap.
Is there a good way to find the right K&N filter, so i can have a back-up. I never seen a carbon capped K&N filter, it looks sweet, but i dont even know how to find it online.

Just so I'm clear, you put a hole in the plastic intake manifold after the filter and secured it in there. That;s what I wanted to originally do but didn't want to get false readings.
