Air filter w/o airbox
The "Dasa" intake thread got me thinking. Then I did a search and not much about it.
So I got curious, how many of you guys run without an airbox. If so post some pict's or how to, where you ride,(ie. dunes, track, conditions etc.), and thoughts on power it may produce.
There was a good thread back in 2008 or 2009 that toched on this but it slowly died.
Postem up!

I can tell you that if you look at the motoworks bikes, they run an air box, but swiss cheese the hell out of it! Found that interesting when I saw them at the last WORCS race.

I was running without an air box, basically the bcs ring, and front wall of airbox was still there, lid, bottom, both sides, and back of airbox were cut off.
Ive since gone back to a stock engine, with complete airbox, in order to run in the Production class in neatv.

I run no box, then zip ties to fix the amount of play in the intake. With a large UNI filter with a pre filter. I just check it out and clean it constantly!
