Rossier, there a few on ebay, and I can't remember if motoworks has one.
Remember Jaredp is from Rossier and will ship to you. Look them up it's another very good option.
Thanks for the recommendation, If the only mods he does to the bike are our free air kit and our pipe, I have a map that will get him tuned very close. He wont have to buy an auto tune or hack up the exhaust. The money saved here (250?) should cover the shipping.

so i raced my brother in law raptor 700R, we were neck and neck, till i hit rev limit in 5th gear, after that he got by 2 bike lengths both quads stock
he was sooooo shocked by the outcome, first and second gear i was ahead by 1 bike length
so what do i need to kick his butt, bare in mind he'll be installing the big 3 just like me
exhaust,intake and tune.

is there a way to stay ahead rathar than keeping close.
the good thing is that he was shocked of the outcome
because no one really knows whats the DS is Capable of as its not popular in kuwait
too many yfz's / Banshees and Raptors

Well he's got displacement on u...more torque and an extra gear....best bet is it spread ur gearing out so 5th climbs more and at the same time gaining low end power to get a healthy lead off the line. That's why I preach about the ron woods kit. Most hp and torque outta all the "basic" kits. I can beat most quads and keep up w/ dirt bikes (once we're up to speed)...

will be purchasing th Ron woods package this week
spoke to them and resolved the shipping issue
i know the raptor has displacement and gearing advantage, but it pisses me off the way he speaks of the raptor makes it look like its untouchable.
i Love the raptor and was my 1st choice before buying the DS, but after riding both quads, the DS is by far the better bike, way smoother and more stable.
next in line is racing a yfz with pipe intake and jetting

wel...if he ever opens that motor up your screwed. the raptor is a great quad....and will probably join our line-up at some point in time. very linear powerband, very smooth torque curve, and can produce some nasty numbers if the right parts are added on. like i said, the Woods exhaust, a FMI unit, BCS filter, running dual exh cams and dropping down a tooth or two in the rear sprocket will make the power on the DS seem unreal. the DS bottom end power is lacking, and the woods combo REALLY wakes it up, and dropping the teeth in the rear makes that torque a little more manageable, and also helps stretch out your gears.
but i wouldnt worry about the raptor too much. the second you find a track or some high speed trails he will be wishing he had a 345lb quad lol
