im making the switch to a ds and i was wondering who makes cranks for these ds i work at a yamaha dealership and i can get parts for pretty much anything but i seem not to be albe to find a crank for it just pistons

yea im just saying stocker after a certain amount of hour on all my quads i always replace my cranks i know its not a honda no more and i wont be able to get a crank for 300 bucks no more if i make the switch

I think what he is saying is that, on previous quads he would replace the crank after so many hours regardless of the condition. The price tag may scare you away from just replacing it for insurance, if there isn't any play up and down and the play side to side is within spec id keep running it. If you do go with a stroker crank falicon is the way to go, not sure if hot rods or anyone else makes a crank for the ds.

Why replace something that isn't broken with something the performs the same? Unless you are supper fast like john Natalie and need to not blow a motor to win the championship.
