Oil drain plug

Ok so i stripped my engine oil drain plug threads. i dont have a clue on what i should use for a drain plug now. has this happened to anyone els? please let me know what you used and how it works because ive been out of riding for a few weeks now. any help is appreciated, thankss

I would just buy a new bolt and tap a new hole. Veryy carefully

what kinde of bolt though? not the stock one right? My motors out of the quad so its pretty easy to work with

Just take it to a machine shop and have them tap a new hole.

I cant imagine it to much,I can do most repairs on my machines,some things I just wont trust myself doing!Hell,it should only take them a few minutes if they are not busy,good-luck.

Some people have had good luck heli-coiling it....machine shop should run cheap...make sure all shavings are cleaned out

tryed the heli coil, didnt work for sh*t. so not i think im just gonna tap it out and put a new drain bolt in with a copper washer and it should hold up
