oil on the engine cover

Unhappy oil on the engine cover

Found a small line of oil going down the right side cover of the engine.

not much, but don't know if I should bring it to the garage??

Where is it coming from? Check your hoses and if it is only uderneath check the back of the case by tthe sprocket and see if the case has a crack

could just be a bad gasket like mine. i heard that if these engines are overfilled with oil, they purge the seals really easily

If it is by the clutch, then its just a bad gasket. Sometimes when they are put together, they can get pinched, or just not seat properly.

also, if the bike has been serviced, chances are the mechanic who did the work got lazy and didnt replace the gasket. they are throw away gaskets not to be used more than once, and by that i mean not meant to seal, then be broken and then resealed again...chances are its just a bad gasket. especially since your in a cold climate, it probably shrank up in the freezing temps.

sound like that, they just did rebuilt the engine it was my second ride.

Don't want to drop it to the garage, i'm gonna have to get rid of everything like the pipe k&N and the FMI because it is on the waranty.
