Idles but when reved bogs and dies.

I just put my bike back together. Ported head and cams. I started it up this morning and it started fine. I let it idle for a few min then tryed hitting the gas. It bogged and died. I have the pink wire done and am thinking it needs a new tune. Does that sound right? it idles fine just cant rev it thanks.

Got it all back together. Rode it around the yard, when u hit the gas it pops a little when reving back down. Doesn't that mean it's running lean. I'm going to do pc5 with auto tune. Does that sound good? Or am I way off

It sounds like you're on the right track. Check your plugs and see how lean you're running after a plug chop. May give piece of mind.

Some popping is normal due to the exhaust.

Idk what els the problem could be. I don't think that could be an engine problem right?has to be something fuel related. Right?

Possibly running lean. Depends on how bad the popping is. With free flowing exhaust some popping is normal. Think glass packs on a v8 compared to a muffler.

Like I said earlier do a plug chop. Check the plugs tan is good white is too lean. New set of pugs and 10 minutes.
