Lots of companies promise you the world with engines, but unless you see they dyno done in person with that bike, I wouldn't hold a candle to the 58 hp.... not with the engine kit they offer.. Not knocking Adrenaline, they are advancing and doing lots of R&D, but I wouldn't believe it till I seen it.
All dyno's read differently too.

exactly and i mean if its in europe they could be using European unit mesurment of power (believe its PS) which is slightly higher than the way we measure hp here in the US. NOT saying they are but i agree with xrider. with no dyno dont buy into it.

I wish there was more for the ds450 also. You would think there would be a few more parts out there?
There seems to be some reasons the Ds450 does not have allot of aftermarket engine parts, mainly cause its one of those motors that just adding cams etc.. don't seem help. Max power or someone has an big bore engine kit for the ds450 but its Spendy, mainly cause I think a good kit involves a falicon or some stroker crank. With the ds450 short stroke & unique head not sure how hard it is to get a Big bore to preform better than stock?
With that I would be careful who does port work or any motor work to your ds450 cause its one of those that seems to be easier to ruin than gain. not like the good ol Honda where opening it up usually helped in some way lol.

i dono personally i believe in the dyno ......but this bike has hella potential yes its a short strokedengine and high reving but why wouldnt a bore kit work .....480cc is not a big enough jump to mess with the balancing...... and its common sense that its gonna create some more hp..... i have 2 ds and my built ds is a ton faster then my ds with just filter pink wire and exhaust......and another bull crap hype that i see people buying into is that the fmf looses power on the dyno erroneous i had the fmf mega bomb set up on my built ds and switched to the ron woods system and not only does the fmf perform just as well if not better it also sounds a ton better in my opinion....just my 2 cents

I Can't speak for the other people, but I'm not saying a jump to 480 is a waste of money. TNT's son has a big bore kit with lots of testing and he is happy with the results I beleive, But I do Not think that he was making close to 60 hp. The DS has potential for sure, but when you look at other Motors as well, it is alot easier to get high torque and HP out of Suzuki's than it is out of the Can-am. I've had both built and raced both built and I can outright tell you, that dollar for dollar investment, the Suzuki is a stronger motor than the DS's, and with the suzuki's, 60 HP and in and around there is all that Yoshi's fully built National engines are getting.
All we are saying is don;t buy into the hype of different companies promising you the world.

plus, if you can use 60 hp to its full potential... you should probably be in the national pro class. There is no need for huge power, all it does is tire you out faster.

i just looked it up again and they claim 58 with the fully built engine with the big bore and thats at the wheels which is alot for our bike and more then enough to make me happy .......i got a fully built drag banshee if i wanna go fast on a straight line ......but with that said , i still dont want any 450 to be able to keep up with my ds either .....i guess im just a power mongral....but hey thats the name of the game to me, i own a collision and performance shop in nyc and at the track meets its all about HP and torque for the bragging rights

Don't know what type of racing ya do, but for MX its 90% rider, 10% bike. I can guarantee that if you gave Dustin Wimmer a Stock Z400 and put him on a track with almost anybody on this forum with our DS, he would kick our A$$
