Check engine light

Hi All, is there a master reset to get the check engine light off, mine is currently one then it starts blinking so the bike wont rev out. what can i check to fix this problem.
sorry but i cant take it to a dealer as i relocated to barbados and brought it with me. any help will e greatful. also can some one say which dealer has the service manual for these bikes or if any of you have it in downloadable format that will be awesome

does it do this when its warmed up or all of the time? you could try unplugging all of the connectors one at a time make sure they are dry and then plug them back in, in case for some reason there is a bad connection or moisture somewhere, other than that i would think that you will need it hooked up to buds to find the issue

happend to mine , ended up a loose connection where the pink wire mod was performed.....contact spray and reconnected it and it never happend again

does it all of the time, sometimes you start and it is off, other times its on from the time the bike starts

ok update time
got the shop manual, as i suspected there is no way to reset the EMC without BUDS. any one knows where i can purchase it from, our a dealer i can send my EMC to and have it checked out to see what was causing the problem, i am not living in USA at present. or better yet and of you guys that have it want to come to Barbados and fix it.
