Wow!

[NEW TO DS FAMILY]

i got to ride my new ds for the first time sunday.started out quarter to half throtle first tank then hit that three quarter throtle and wow must hav have found that sweet spot,front end lifted it was like rideing a two stoke i thought this ds is fast.i went rideing with two friends 525 outlaw 500 limited edition predator, both very fast.later that day cut pink wire opend air box baffle out seemed like it bogged on bottom end mid range was real good top end almost hit like a flat spot.lined up with the predator 500 about 5 mph roll i let him hit it first so he had no exuses he took off i nailed it up it came with a quickness as it came down hit second then third looked to my left he was at least three bikes back held him there the rest of the race.we were all supprised how fast this ds 450 is ive prsonaly seen this 500 predator run wheel to wheel with 700 raptor.am i happy hell yes!my friend with 525 outlaw wouldnt race me,he hates to loose and i think i might just beat him.i will race against my sons 525 in a couple weakes,anyway i had a fun ride home im supprised they didnt make me walk lol.see ya

I know what you mean, I just went for a quick ride around the block & when you quickly give it lots of gas, it quickly picks up. Almost feels like the front wheels are off the ground. I was in 3rd or 4th gear at top rpm's and it was crazy fast. I gotta find a long enough stretch to hit top speed, or try to at least. I think its to fast for me.... lol

one of the things that I noticed when riding is how easy the front end comes up going over whoops or if you come across something unexpected and have to lift up the front end...like over a dune or something! I LOVE the feel of it!

Can't wait to get pipe and other racer parts...they are on backorder until 19 March!!!!
