Finally got some seat time!

So last week I was finally able to get out to the dunes and get 3 good days of riding in! Man.. I love this quad. Ive had a few LTZ's and a KFX450R prior and overall my DS takes the cake.

Its no secret the low end is weak, but there are ways around that...summer projects (pipe tuner, etc). Top end, comfort and overall ride are great. This thing is super cushy and doesnt beat me up at all.

After my very first ride I felt the steering was super sketchy so mounted a stick dampener and wow what am improvement. This thing loves to wind out and is very predictable in its response. Its weight makes it very easy to control and throw around.

I got beat by an LTR piped, intake, etc - but only by a quad length or two,,,so I was pretty happy with that (being stock and all). Aside from not having that low end grunt I have no complaints what so ever.

If anyone is on the fence - I say go for it, the DS is a sick ride!

i've also found that it is easy to flick around while riding...especially to lift the front end up w/unexpected terrain.

LOL 70s are a sickness, I just picked up our 2nd one. No plans to sell them any time soon - but if and when I'll let you know

me and my buddy just sold our 70/125 hybrid. ('83 70 with lifan 125 motor) for $2500! what a sucker that guy was lol. too bad tho our loss that little thing was fun as hell!

Nice...my '81 has a lifan 110 in it with new plastics, tires, bars, paint, pipe etc.

Probably not, we just pulled our camper home last weekend. Too much going on - with luck one more trip but its not looking good right now.
