you do NOT need race experience and I think you can still qualify for the program. It will be harder to get your dealer to do things for you now that you have already bought the bike but I'm sure that you can put in the application and see what they say!

It HAS to be done through your purchasing dealer where you got the DS though...so hopefully you haven't burned any bridges!

good, then you got a shot! Don't know what they'll say but I don't have ANY race experience and they replied in 5 days! can't beat the price of the parts and all the aftermarket stuff they hook you up with. I'm 6'8" and 240lbs....i KNEW i would need shocks and you can't beat a 50" package w/stem, antivibe and all the goodies for under$1000

can you "only" use the DS for racing if you do the program? I guess "training" for races can work too?

ya..its more of a formality though..you DO lose the warranty when you use the race program! that is about the only thing you need to worry about.

Is there a minimum amount of races you need to be in? I've kinda got a weird work schedule which would make it hard to do anything consistently...
