3 brothers with 3 diff. 450's
Hey there.
Well I got 2 older brothers and we're all into riding quads. I have an 08 ds450 x with a rossier free air kit and pink wire cut. My eldest brother has an 08 LTR 450 with Rossier pipe, air box delete, and power commander. My middle brother just picked up an 06 trx 450 which is bone stock for now. What are the Best things to do for me to come out on top? Thanks guys

get the rossier exhaust.iit puts out more power than the motoworks anyway.(ive run both) or the woods. I got a similar setup and never have a prob winning races against other 450s or even renegades. rossi cams, If you want alot more power and dont mind running race gas get a hi comp piston. depending on where you live you could take it to rossier eng. thats where I got my engine work done and it hauls ass.

Honestly a motoworks slip-on will be totally fine with a little bit of motor work. With the money you save from the slip on, and then not needing a power commander because you don't have a full pipe, you can get a piston and some BCS port work.

Don't you need a FMI/FMU after getting any engine mods done? Porting, higher comp piston, etc..????

IMO you should have one once u do anything above a slip on and intake. you will def need one when u do all that engine work though

I don't have a power commander on any of my 3 Can-ams. One has a different ECU from Can-am, because it has a bigger thorottle body and injector. My other two both have BCS epoxy port jobs, 13.5:1 compression pistons and exhaust cams. They all run flawlessly, because the ECU self adjusts to the amount of air it is getting.
