wont start

my ds450. on o8 plate, just stopped, cannot start it at all, plugs ok, fuel pump wering as you turn ignition on. starts for a second then stops,
any clues,

does it have spark when it will not run?
will it run on WD-40?
( is it fuel or spark or mechanical)
