please help! another problem. ds 650 breather dripping milky white.

Ok after my ds 450 hub snapped a day before race, I decide to put new sprag clutch in 650 to ride something. All back together starts right up sounds great. On the starter clutch side the breather hose is constantly dripping a milky fluid out. What's this.... Can i run it or is this bad? Unreal day before race both bikes crap the bed. Please help, running out of time.

Milky white is a sign of coolent getting in the oil. I would drain the oil check it out, and also your coolent level too. Maybe a head gasket.?

Could just be moisture from sitting right?
As far as Blaster reliability, that's the way I feel about my old 400 EX!

I have a DS650, they have ONE mechanical flaw... their water pump seal's sometimes go bad. I've changed mine. I noticed the milky white color on mine, but the headgasket was good.

my advice, if you plan on working on the bike yourself go online to a parts fisch and get all of the part #'s ahead of time. I did mine, and its a little tricky because there are so many bolts of different lengths, but as long as you can remember where they went and take your time it'll be fine.
you need:
2 water pump seals
1 water pump shaft
1 clutch cover gasket

and if the inside of your clutch cover was messed up you'll need a new one of those, all this stuff has to seal up.

I'd change your oil first, drain it all out really well, put some fresh cheap oil in it and then run the 650 for a little while. check your oil after you do that... just in case your bike is fine and decided to scare you for no reason.

I noticed on the right side on thermostat a plug is broke off, I believe for the fan. Could this be causing oil light to come on and this issue?
