Umm pretty sure you can run can am arms you just need to mod you steering stem and run the ltr brakes and spindels. Worst case you change you ball joints in your arms to except the ltr spindels. I cant see what the point of running differents arms is? The setup still uses ds450 lt travel shocks so the mounting point is still the same between the two setups? So when it comes down to it. The steering stem and spindles and maybe different balljoints to except the ltr spindles. Is all you would need. The steering stem i belive but not sure for this mod , lowers the povit point lower to giv you more levage?

I know Walsh a arms for LTR setup are 1/4" shorter than Can Am spindle setup. This is the setup Creamer used last year. Also have same stem with both setups. I am positive factory team shortens upper and lower. At first they only shortened upper but it wasn't 100% right. I am not sure if JBs LTR spindle setup uses shorter a arms because I think the only setup they have made is for LTR spindles. JB uses a stem with Yamaha style flag for easy removal.

The race team runs the LTR hub, disk and spindles along with the LTR calipers. As for the a-arms, they are custom a-arms that are shorter since the spindles ball joint locations on the LTR are further inwards then the can-am. To run can-am a-arms would trow the camber (and probably caster) WAY out of spec. As for the shock mount I don`t know exaclty. They probably tred a couple different mounts and used the one that works best.

The steering post (or at least the bottom triangle part of it) will have to be suzuki, or custom to work with the new steering geometry.

PLEASE no one try to just adapt suzuki a-arms to your can am`s it won`t work.

Why don't we just straight axle the front of the ds? No just kidding. I'm actually thinking about making some high clearance/ long travel a arms out of chromoly. What is exactly the benefit of using the LTR steering set up?
