what all have you tried? How long is it idling? Is your fan kicking on? What type of coolant are you using?

Well,I removed plastic, checked relays, fuses, all connections, looked for loose grounds, its getting fuel, pulled plugs it is getting spark, swapped battery for a new load tested one, heck even unpluged the ECU.It cranks great, will fire very briefly then die.Only I can think of are valves need adjustment. Also, tried to start in gear with the clutch pulled, still just cranks.Compression seems good, although I did not test. When I had a pluged pulled it would blow light white smoke out of the plug hole very small amount though, any ideas? Thanks. It just seem strange that it would stall while idling.Yes,put new fuel in also.

do you have a programmer installed by chance? might be wrong settings if you're at a different altitude. Mine would stall and blow white smoke at the top of my street...couldn't figure it out until i remembered that the FMI that I bought was from Cali, and I'm in Utah, so i had to adjust the settings.

I had the same kind of problem. There's a sensor that bolts to on to the left side of you're coolant tank, double check to make sure that's sealed properly. I believe it's a pressure sensor, or something like that. I did about everything imagined and when i replaced that sensor it instantly worked.

Thanks for the help, got it going.I read an old post by Gregory with the same problem, thanks to the reply by Blizzard 54 about fouling plugs with running his DS for short periods of time, not allowing the fuel to burn out of the cylinder throughly.Swapped new plugs, fired right up!
