Well... that is why precision will get all the business in the ds450 market. Smart move on their part.

I'm sure they've heard of the quad AHAHA! I'd Hope so anyways! the Model of the quad is truly a DS450. In all honesty, the initial email you sent them seemed pretty brief as well.

Dear Customer,

I have seen the quad. Without customers feedback asking for one is just not possible. It costs a lot to do research, develop and put into production a mount kit.

Thank you,
Jake

You just told me a couple emails ago you didn't know what that quad was do you follow racing at all?

So how many people would have to ask you about this product to make you interested in producing these? Or should we just keep buying precision?

Dear Mike,

I do not appreciate your attitude. I am here trying to answer you question and this is a rather immature response. I asked because the DS 650 was a Bombardier until 07. 2007 and up are now Can-Ams. Can-Am and Bombardier are the same company I know but two different quads from 07-08. I was asking so that I could give you an accurate answer and I wanted to make sure you what quad you had. You did not leave the year or brand. It was a simple question. Many people send emails with incorrect information or a lack of information. It was not my ignorance that it was a problem it was a lack of information on your email. Once you stated that it was the Can-Am I could give you the answer you needed. I have seen this quad in pictures but not in person. Emails are not always the best way to communicate as things may not be clear. As far as the demand goes for this quad you are only the second person of record that has contacted us regarding one.

Thank you,
Jake

Don't worry about it big fella I will just buy the brand unafraid to do a little R & D before they have 1000s of orders ready to be made and shipped...

P.s any iddiot quad rider knows what a DS450XMX is... What you just told me is your are pretty clueless and probably don't even ride a quad yet you are answering questions about parts you don't have a clue about and probably have a buisness managment degree which is why you got your job...

Thanks for telling me you have better things to do and because I wanted a better answer then what you gave me I am immature... I know the exact direction I will send ANYONE looking for a stabilizer/damper... Not to scotts performance

Take care

Ya man, Your pushin it way too far and are way offside. Alot of companies aren't doing parts for the ds 450 because not many people are riding them at this time, and there is almost no one riding them. In Scotts defense, all you said was 450Xmx. I'm not sure if you realize scotts makes stabilizers for pretty much every singe Dirtbike/Motorcycle and many atv's out there and alot of those are 450's!

Your responses to the reply's you received are offside and immature, and if any of the moderators of this site, or the site itself wants to maintain some sort of standard of "product" bashing, this thread should be edited as your conversation with Scott's is proving nothing except for your lack of communication skills with a company that has been in the industry for decades. If you wanted a Scott's steering stabilizer so badly initially did you offer to lend them your quad for the to design a unit??

I have no Relationship with Scott's at all, Am not sponsored by them, and have only used their products a handful of times, so my 2 cents is only being expressed to try and maintain some sort of professionalism in this thread and this forum so companies that use this site for research, do not come on here and see company's being bashed and not respected.

These company's are here to make a living and a profit, if an aftermarket company doesn't believe that they can make a product profitable for a certain model, than whp are you to judge?

My 2 cents, take it or leave it.
Sorry for the rant.

lol i was the other guy that asked him about the dampner like 2 months ago. he said the same thing, not enough people were asking about it. scotts is a very small operation, running in a VERY small building in my hometown. i know the owner as well as all the employees well. theyve all got their hands full with a couple motogp teams and all the dirt bikes in my area. they do alot of work with ESP suspension who is also near me. there arent enough quads in the area to make ESP or Scotts drop the ball on all the dirtbikes and start getting into quads. unforutanately im on scotts side, quads are waaaaay more popular in canada and the midwest and east coast, but atv racing isnt really that big in so-cal, so they really dont have a market that needs their attention. plus, IF they ever got around to making one, it would be way more expensive than the precision or streamline ones.
