Help! have a 09 ds 450 x mx ron woods stage 3 1st gear seems to long, we ride most of the time at little sahara dunes skat trak haulers. what would be a good all around good gearing set up. thanks much!

too long? as in your in 1st a while? id do a 14/42 if you want shorter gears, and that (along with 20" paddles) will have you riding wheelies everywhere.

I run a stock ds with mods in my sig. 14/42 is too short with 20 in paddles. I ride at waynoka also. When my stock gears wear out I'm looking at dropping to a 40 rear.

If your stock, no mods, go with 14/42. Any future mods planned soon stay where your at & try with mods first.
