Mx gearing

I have just changed to 14/36, and I think this thing rips. It pulls hard out of the corners, and accelerates longer before catching third. I can also clear some smaller doubles in second that I had to hit in third before. I dont feel that it has lost much off the bottom, but gained quite a bit everywhere else, and I do not have any radical engine work done (hi comp piston, slip on, PCV, exh cam mod). I got the sprocket from Krause Racing (Sidewinder) for $138.

Vortex will make whatever you want , I went to the owner, worked through the prototypes and now we use their aluminum sprockets .....
There are others , if you can afford them

I found putting the 14 on the front made my starts way better! I had a 13 on in Georgia and I couldn't start to save my life. The 2nd day we put a 14 on and Iwas up near the font in 2 out of 3.
