That maybe a possibilty. The heaviest draw is the fan starting so if you eliminated that, it may help.

Well here we go again! After a good cleaning and a bunch of Di electric grease last Sunday the fan relay went again! All I can think of is to go ahead and get the race harness and hope that solves the problem.

Is the fan motor drawing to much? That many relays, it's probally something else.

sounds to me like your main voltage has dropped , which (E=IR) means that a relay that will pull 3 amps at 14.8 volts ... the same relay in the same spot can pull over 10 amps at 12 volts which would overheat the relay quickly ...
what is the voltage at the fan while it is running ?

WOW ! I think I'm gonna have to call ya on that one! I'm not electrically educated in any way, so that all came across to me like Chinese!

Simple electrical the higher the volts the less amps it draws.the lower the volts the higher the amps it draws.

When it comes to electrical formulas I believe (may be wrong) that E=IR represents E (voltage) I (Amperage) R (Power/Watts)
Voltage = Amperage % Watts
Watts = Voltage x Amperage
Amperage = Voltage % Watts
This is whats called Power Formula

I got 12.4v at battery, 11.7v at relay and fan with engine off, goes up a bit at relay with engine running. Is that little of a drop normal or could that be my problem? Plug from relay wire and fan wire read same as at relay and is in good shape. Any suggestions?
